Prepare for Your Appointment

The Queen’s Medical Center – Blaisdell Vaccine Clinic
Please review this guide to help you plan what to bring to your appointment and learn more about your vaccination.

For the safety and well-being of all, children (age 11 and under) are not allowed in our vaccine clinics. Please leave your keiki at home or make arrangements for their adult supervision while you are receiving the vaccine.

For the safety and well-being of all, please do not come to our vaccine clinics if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 20 days and/or have symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, muscle aches, fatigue, trouble breathing, headache, etc…). Stay at home and get rest.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

  • You will be receiving either the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.  Please review the appropriate Vaccine Fact Sheet (linked below) based on the following general guide:
    • Blaisdell Vaccine Clinic
      • Appointments on a Sunday / Monday: Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
      • Appointments on a Wednesday / Thursday / Friday / Saturday: Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine
  • We will schedule you to come back to this clinic for your 2nd dose when you get your 1st dose.
  • The second dose will be scheduled for either 21 days (Pfizer) or 28 days (Moderna) after the first dose to receive proper immunity.
  • The entire vaccination process may take about 45 minutes to 1 hour (this includes a 15-minute monitoring period).
  • Please avoid wearing long-sleeved clothing to help expedite your vaccination.
  • No animals allowed.

For Your Appointment

  • You Must Bring
  • Verification that you are part of the vaccination group will be checked when you arrive for your vaccination.
  • Face masks, physical distancing, and practicing hand hygiene are required.
  • There is currently no co-pay associated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

(Clinic registration is on Diamond Head side of the concert hall, near the parking lot)

Parking & Arrival

  • Parking: No charge. Enter from King St. into Blaisdell Parking Lot. ADA accommodations available.

  • We recommend standing in line to check in no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled vaccination time. Please arrive on site no earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled time for parking.

  • One adult, 18 years of age or older, may accompany kupuna who have an appointment.
  • To preserve the vaccine supply for the designated priority group, we will only be vaccinating for those who meet eligible criteria.
  • Food and beverage stands are not open during this time, please bring your own bottled water. No food will be allowed inside the Concert Hall building.
